I've been down Pete's shop plenty of times, all the way through this build and was impressed the whole way (as I am with everything he touches anyway). It's great to have a guy with his talent not far from where I live. It's not always easy to find the "good shops", but with Comp Spec it's very easy to just drop my car off for work and then get someone to give me a ride home.
Back in 2006 I met Pete from the forum on Hot Rod's website. It started out as just a bunch of guys from the Northeast, trying to get together to cruise down to FL for the start of Power Tour. By the end of the week, there were definitely some good friendships made, but Pete was by far, one of the best (His friend/co-worker Brian is ok too...LOL!).
Since then I have always considered him a real good friend, as well as someone who is always willing to help out or add advice when needed. To meet someone with his talent and down to earth personality is rare. He is definitely one of those guys, that you have to be careful to not to judge a book by it's cover.
Tony, you definitely got a once in a million lifetime's chance with this whole thing. Congrats on that!
And Pete, without trying to sound like a kiss-ass. All the kudos and spotlight you have gotten from this build..... YOU DESERVE IT ALL my friend!

Very well said TJ!!
I had the pleasure of meeting Pete and Brian because of Karma. Not only did I see a great transformation of Tony's car, but I also became friends with Pete and Brian as well and have been down the shop when Karma was being built. I have also had the pleasure of meeting Tony and his wife Jen in person at one point when they came to see the car in "build mode". They deserve it.
Tony, you're one lucky dude for sure. Congrats man! I know you will enjoy it. Pete and Brian, killer work as usual. Which is why "
when" I need my pro-tour built, you two are my guys!
