Well, remember that when we did the LS2 they painted the hood and front fenders. They did a great job matching but the paint on that end of the car was smoother than the back half of the car. We were just going to do to the front fenders, but when they heard about SEMA they wanted to make sure that it was as nice as it could be. It's a big deal for BOS that the car will be there.

It's nice knowing the the whole car is shot the same. I will cry when I get the first rock chip then get over it and not care.. lol

The rocker panels will be getting Xpel'd

Looks great Steve. I think you will have some summer left to drive the thing, if not fall.

What is X-pelled. I am guessing it is a chip guard, but is it permanent or temporary?

Mike

Hey Steve. If you don't mind me asking, what are they charging you to put that xpel on?

Not sure, I will let you know. But, it's not crazy expensive and certainly cheaper than paint.

Ask Kevin at CAR, they put stuff like it on the orange/black 69.

Yeah it's pretty pricy, but the guy who did Steve's car is someone I went to high school with, but a few years older. He says he will hook me up as we have common friends.
