Hell yes! Plus I'm a 6'5" tall guy so driving it around would get tons of laughs everywhere I go. I'd have to get the license plate "CMPNS8N"

I've been real sick lately so I haven't been able to drive the camaro much. I'm just getting around to getting the rear Jake's spoiler apart and get it painted/prepped for install. The new oil pan is in and after some testing off mulholland no oil pressure drops in high g turns...

At some point the speedometer gear shredded so I need to replace that as well. I need a track day so badly, but its hard to plan things when you live your life 6 hours at a time. Its like a roller coaster that never stops and isn't fun.

A few of my track friends have a Spring Mountain track day planned around the same time as the Ultima Challenge. Maybe I can manage to be up there for both, either as an observer, an exhibition entry, or maybe even a competitor?

How does one enter that event or is it invite only?

I better get back to bed. Not feeling well

Looking forward to seeing the pics of Jake's spoiler. I just ordered front and rear spoilers from him. Having him powdercoat them flat black to go with my flat black primer. Have the same CCW's as you do, so other then paint, it will look like yours

Hope you start feeling better and get back on the road courses soon enough.

Thanks for the thoughts I appreciate it. Frank is AWESOME. He's quite the hot rodder, hes even seen 173mph GPS verified and doesn't seem to flinch.

I'm not sure I'd be in as good as shape as I am mentally without the little sucker. Hes my companion and shadow. Dogs are amazing critters.

I will check out the race thread and see if I can rally, pain or not I will do my best. I'm not towing out there either this time. Driving straight to the track to prove a point.

If you paint your car gold we're going to have to have a talk!

I am waiting on mounting hardware from Jake before ripping it apart. In the mean time I've been busy as all hell getting the mini sorted. Almost got all the parts together for the R1 swap. I find it funny that I'm building a daily driver thats faster than my camaro Its great that its keeping me busy, I've been locked in the house for up to 5 days at a time in pain so it keeps me busy doing research on parts, styles heritage etc. Its the Mr Potatohead of cars, and is a blast. The little car is no joke. If I can't get the camaro together for Buttonwillow maybe I'll bring it out instead.

Excellent---look forward to seeing you out there. This will be my first track day----so if we run at the same time, you will get used to seeing my finger--(for the point by that is)

Great dog---I am going to be breaking down and getting one in the next couple of years---it's 3 against one here at my place, plus my wife is really hot and I am a sucker for the kids---so it's probably inevitable---
