I have a soft spot for old trucks. I have this 69 Dodge P/W that I put a EFI 5.7 hemi in, thing runs like a new truck, sets on a shortened 80's Dodge frame, Dana 60's front and back 727, and a 205 t/c. The cab was rotted pretty good, so I got a better one and am finishing up the floors in it before I switch them over. I also own a 40's P/W with an old school hemi. I really need a check up from the neck up!!

Got a few minutes to play with this thing. Quarters are at least somewhat shaped, the more I mess with this car the more awkward it seems, maybe I should leave it alone, NAH. I kind of think its taking the Ford Pinto shape only bigger.

Is it possible to slightly bulge the front fenders and give them the same wheel opening as the rears? That might tie it together. I see what your saying though, with as long as the front and door is, the rear just drops off. If the car had a spoiler like the Javilin, it could even out the lengths.

If it was me, I might try and incorporate a slight javelin fender hump;

maybe about 30-50% of what was in the later models, along with a full sheet metal stretch to wrap around the tire.

It might give you the ability to have a similar wheel opening front and back.

The spoiler on this page could look better with a little more 'artistic license'

maybe you could fabricate something along those lines

Looking good Ron, maybe if you weren't working on so many projects at once you could finish one of them

This stuff keeps falling into my lap, I haven't gone looking for one of these projects, hell I've been offered several that I turned down, but yeah I'm in it. Like I said before, I need a check up from the neck up!
