Small update:

Ok, this spending 2-3 hours at a time in the garage and seeing no visible progress is getting a tad tiresome!! LOL

Wiring is certainly not my strong point, but AAW's kit doesn't make it seem like the giant mountain I'm making it out to be.

I'm slowly figuring out that with my setup as-is... I won't need a lot of the harness...

- dash harness - GONE (all taken care of by the Stack cluster)
- Console cluster harness - GONE
- Engine wiring harness - GONE (the LS's harness takes car of that easily)

So in a lot of ways this is easier and harder at the exact same time. I'm really glad I went with the upgraded kit that has 18 circuits, always room to throw in a banging stereo later if I want to

Super pissed that Radioshack doesn't carry these style of LED's in blue anymore Grrrr....

Yeah, I hear ya... it is hard to tell whether it is my ADD or my OCD that starts pinging when I peruse that one.

Evenso, if you need an LED... They can probably help you source it. There are humans on the other end of the website... ya know?

Lots of guys with the same bike as me upgraded instrument clusters on their motorcycles to save the wattage, that is where I heard of them.

Talking

Show the back of the stack cluster (indicator base & wires) and give any info off of the little bulb that you can see.

Speaking of my disorders, the asymmetric appearance of your indicators is bothering me.

The LED's aren't part of the stack system, these are for:

2 - Turn signals
1 - Warning light from the Stack system
1 - Bright indicator
1 - Check engine light

Only the warning light is a part of the stack unit.

That's causing the asymmetry LOL

The stack unit has a killer screw on type military
IT's the read thing in this photo (not mine)

Been wiring like a mo'fo lately.

I finished the rear wiring harness yesterday and now it's on to the front wiring harness. I tried to clean things up a bit and remove a lot of lead wires for the engine bay that really aren't necessary anymore (water temp wire, starter solenoid wire...etc). Leaves me about 10 total wires under the hood, not including the LS wiring bundle.

Anywhoozle,

Can't finish the head lights and turn signals without putting the fenders back on! I can taste it it's so close!!!

Oh wow. Good eye. It sure looks like it..
I mentioned to MaxHarvard before that Holley had supplied a similar intake/ram to the 48hr Camaro build and Lingenfelter wound up using an alternate for hood clearance reasons.
