If you want some more information there is a great book on how to prep a Solstice for racing The book can purchased from any GM dealer with pn 88958697.

If you read on page 9 you will se that the lead engineer on the Solstice SSB was Stielow. You friends in the aftermarket probably won't be able to teach him much.
