Thanks for the help guys! After posting and thinking about it for a day, I will just run the line down the stock location and T off and run it along the body to the other side. I agree that it will look a lot cleaner than having the lines on the axle as well. I couldn't see the forest for the trees so to speak.

Kind of ghetto, but how about body panel adhesive ?? Grind off a tiny spot and "glue" the tab on.... if it can hold a body panel, it should hold a brake line tab...
