One touch auto-up function on windows has received some serious concerns here and in other countries. Kids or pets have stepped on the button and accidentally been injured. I have both auto-up/down on my VW - while my truck is auto-down with manual up.

I like the additional functions you brought up - they are on my VW and are nice convenience items !

No, but a true HID system for the A-bodies would be nice.

Ok, here's a simple one. How about a trunk light solution, one where the switch mechanism and light source are in the same package. My only concern is that it would be on some sort of timer (30 minute, 1 hour, etc), so that if it the switch ever failed, the light wouldn't stay on forever and drain the battery.

EDIT: It would be cool if the assembly had a power outlet built into it so you could charge things like a digital camera or laptop while driving. It would have been handy on the Power Tour.

I have another really simple idea. How about a power outlet header panel. Something that, say, would bolt into/inside an existing factory console or glove box that would allow us to have multiple gadgets plugged in at the same time and yet still have a factory/OEM look to it. In the age of cell phones, I-pods, GPS navigation, laptops, etc, it could be something everyone could use.

How about nice looking radio controls for the steering wheel? I have them on my daily driver and would love to have them on the Cougar.

How about and EASY COMPLETE kit for putting an LED third brake light into a first gen spoiler.

Would included:

The light (OEM sourced)
The pigtail
Mounting hardware
Template for cutting spoiler
detailed instuctions

The first person to over this (or a complete spoiler ready for paint) will sell a TON of them.

You don't even have to pay me royalties for the idea
