the magic of TV i guess, why do they have to do that, is it really that impressive to build a car like the charger in 15 days??? i thin i might be a little suspecious of the quality. i like how the body wasn't even fit to the chassis and they had 4 days to finish the car .............. and guess what WE FINISHED IT ON TIME.
and how good it it for a uni body car to be driving arround doing burnouts with no roof or doors, think it might twist a bit?
JOKE
i guess it's all about the marketing and they have that figured out
Couldn't have said it better......

Their clientele is like those other tv shows, they have the money but dont know what they should be spending it on.Im sure that csi guy was charged the same if they did it properly with a new chassis etc. This is why real builders never get rich, and those who know how to please spoiled stars do.

Oh, there's no doubt that they fudge the time line for TV. I just thought it was cool that they are building Muscle Cars.

I've never watched that show... I wonder who their target audience is?

I caught part of the show last night and wasn't too impressed.

I'm not sure about that. They did a Toyota Prius build as well as the musclecars I saw..

That Chevelle was at SEMA last year... has an LS1 and a full Corvette dash. I didn't really dig the style, but it was still cool to see.

Since they (West Coast Customs) seem to have young, suddenly moneyed professional athletes and musicians as their primary customers, it's really not a car show targeted at real "car people", but rather, it's targeted at the young fans of the kind of people who are their primary customers...That certainly translates into a lot more "eyeballs" for advertisers, than does the "hardcore car guy" audience...

I just kept noticing everytime they shut the door/s, the car would insanely rattle. I am not criticizing, it's just a pet peeve of mine.
