I'd love to snatch that up and build a Trans Am race clone out of it. I'm in no place to buy another car right now, though! Once my 79 SE TA is outta here, then I'll have space.

Actually, can you get some closer photos of the floors and maybe the underside? Who knows, I may be interested. Always loved the old Javelins and I've got a hankering for something different with a 4-spd.

Floorpans, no problem! Underside...tricky, but I'll do my best.

I appreciate it, man. I am just trying to get an idea of how much needs to get replaced of the floors.
I'm hoping the guy comes and gets my 79 SE in the next few weeks. Then it would be nice to get into another old school 4-spd ride, and the price is right on this one.

I can say that the front floors are pretty much gone. The Fiberglass is stroner than the floor pan steel, but it's still fiberglass. One of the rear pans is actually in good shape, though, with no holes!
The trunk just has some holes towards the rear, and a patch panel would probably suffice there.

BTW, you think it would make the trip from Richmond to Raleigh?

I think it would, it'd just be a noisy trip.
I could tow it down for you, though.

You haven't heard my other cars!
If you could get me more photos it would be great. Engine, interior, etc.
I am VERY interested, just gotta wait for the guy to come and get the TA. He said he should be here in a few weeks.

No problem! It may be this weekend, depending on how late I end up working, but I'll get them for you! The engine looks great.
Some pre-new seats and interior reassembly shots:
