What a bunch of Losers, and that's why I'm glad they lost. I can't stand Brady, Belichick and the Pats. Good for the Giants, there Defence stone walled the Pats and I've never seen Brady hit and sacked so many times all year.

puts the pats down because they should not be considered the best ever? how can you make an argument other then losing last night about not being the best ever? i didn't hate the 49ers when they were a dynasty in the late 80s early 90s, i liked them as I do the pats.
the giants played great, and they had some lucky catches, which is whats needed to win, and they did that, however to rag on the pats is crazy.

Here we go...

Giants played a great game, they absolutely deserved the win yesterday. It was a clean game with few penalties and almost no Instant Replays. The refs just let them play as they should have.

To say that the Pats have no class, looked unprofessional or they were babies is questionable. Every single Pats interview clearly said, "We didn't get it done today and the Giants played better in every aspect of the game." What,is everyone expecting Belichick to be smiling and doing cartwheels giving an interview? C'mon, the guy barely cracks a smile when they win! I haven't heard any whining or finger-pointing like what went on in virtually every opponent locker room after the Pats beat them. They ARE a very classy organization that gives credit where credit is due and don't typically make excuses.

Yes, coach and some players left with :01 to go. Were they aware of the clock? Who knows. Does it really matter? The coaches shook hands at the 50 and it was over. Not as big a deal as some are making it out to be. It boils down to people can't stand someone that is successful. We'd rather see an accomplished winner fall than anything else. Pretty warped if you ask me.

18-1 is still one more win than the perfect 72 Dolphins. They broke almost every record there is this year. Without a doubt, this was an incredible year for the Pats and I would take this exact same line up again next year without a single change (except for Ellis Hobbs).

Good game = Absolutely.
Good post-game interviews = Yes

But what we are saying is of what happened ON the field. That was totally and completely unprofessional period. (and yes I would be saying the same thing if the roles were reversed). Bottom line is that what they said in post game in has NO effect on how they acted immediately after the game.
For the record, I am not a Giants fan, in fact I dont like Eli one bit but thought it was a great game.

Ben,

I understand what you are saying and I won't argue too much, lol! My perspective is a little different than most on here bashing. I'm not a football guy. Basically if the Steelers aren't playing, I don't really watch. I also don't watch every Steeler game. I watch enough to sound OK around the water cooler. So, I have no idea how Belichick racts all the time. I can say that still don't agree with with how he and some of his team closed the game. This is a huge national stage and I think he should have been a bit more professional. How, I'm not sure. But for a "Non_Football Fan" it looked poor. You can not take away what they did accomplish. They did bring some on themselves with the whole video tape thing. Just my 2 cents.

Later,

I've never seen a Superbowl or any world championship game in any sport where the losing team stuck around at the end of the game except for a few individuals. They were giving the field to the Giants to rightfully celebrate. If they knowingly left the field early in some sort of protest or immature fit that is the complete opposite of everything this team has always done win or lose. That's just not their style and it would be a complete shock. I've watched this team win and lose big games since the Kraft's ownership and Belichick's career here...it's extremely, extremely uncharacteristic. Bob Kraft simply wouldn't put up with it if it were true. I have yet to see any discussion about it anywhere except here.

If there is one thing this team can't be accused of it's lack of class.

Chad, I have no doubt that the Spy Gate episode changed the perspective of many people. They did something wrong (like every single other team in the league), got caught (made an example of) and paid a major, major, major penalty. The NFL was right to penalize them. After that, the Pats shut up and played superior football all year. They took things very personally and had more to prove than anyone else. Every team they faced talked smack before the game and it only fueled them to win.

The game clock had already hit zero when the coach started walking across the field to shake hands. Then the crowds came on the field - so I honestly think they felt the game was over when they left the field.
