What's up with Oregon??

Funny you bring up crime/inmate rates........I am in Portland area, dont know about the rest of the state. Portland has low numbers for violent crimes but property crimes are up there.....see jail below

Multnomah (portland) county built a jail (wapato jail) for $58million a few years back....now it sits empty, no inmates or deputies. The voters approved it being built but the county commissioners failed to work on the funding part to run it . It has been sitting for a few years now, the county still assigned two deputies to staff it.

I moved out of the county last year......couldnt take the BS

When I lived there back in the day, I used to have a paper route that was a the top of a huge hill. At the top of the hill you could see down into the bay, I loved that job. Also, If you havent already, go see a movie at the Egyptian Theatre, its very cool (I hope its still there).
