The torque thrust look good, but with a good looking car like that I would go with someting that not everyone has. Travis makes a good point I think the 19/20 would be good.

All that I can say is that you know this is a big car!! I have a 69 ss impala and I made a big mistake thinking because I went with 22"s all the way around that I would have know problem makin them look right. Wrong, the fronts were 22x9.5 and the rear 22x11. The tires were 255/30-22 & 295/25-22 and they almost look like 19''s on this big ass car. I figured it out that its all in the tire size and not so much the wheels.

As far as hooking up goes my 427 is stroked out and producing well over 500hp and the 22's hooked pretty well. I wouldnt worry about hooking up unless you only want a 1/4 mile car, cause in cornering this thing would grab a dime if needed. I think next week I'll take the 22's of my el camino and take pics what it looks like.

Thanks guys for the answers,

yes, acceleration is my goal, handling is secondly.
I calculated the 305/35 Nittoīs will already have around 4 inch of side wall height, that should not be to less.

It is true the torq thrust are wheels everyone got but what is the alternative (for a resonable price)?

I cannot spend 3-4 grands for a set of rims.

I am curious for the pics.

What about the M/T, are the available for 20" and does they hook?

Thanks so far

Hannes
