Awesome cars!!!

I can't help but say - I really think the Ford GT is just flat out the sexiest pics on this thread! It's just so pure-sports car looking. Don't get me wrong the Viper and Corvette Coupes look awesome but that's just it - they are coupes and the Ford GT is well what it is..a GT. It's a race car! I got to cruise with one in traffic on route 20 this weekend about 150 miles outside of Myrtle Beach. Just crazy to see one of these just driving down the highway!

Thanks for the pics and info - nice rides!

J

Tony,

Any plans for the Z06? or keep it all stock? Love that color. How did the clutch hold up on the Z? Trying to figure out which clutch I'm going to do, and the ls7 is on the list.

Awesome pics.

John, I agree on the Ford GT. One of my favorite looking cars of all time. I actually think they look more sexy than a Lambo. They should "American Exotic" to me. I would like to have one in tungsten gray with black stripes someday.

Moose, stock clutch in both cars held up just fine. No issues or fading, even with hot laps. The Z06 will be modded, just not decided on which route to take. Cam+Headers or forced induction. APS twins would be too much fun.

Thumbs up

Good write up and nice seeing the comparison between the two, even if they weren't evenly matched up. Looks like the Z06 held up well compared to the modified viper.
NICE CARS!!!!

Ford GT are typically high 11s stock. Doesn't take much to improve that though, just a pulley swap on the blower.

Tony, when you decide to mod the ZO6, keep us in the loop. I'm interested in seeing what direction you take.
