I crashed up my first car too. Luckily it wasn't a Camaro.

I wonder if the kid was into cars or possibly helped his dad build and or work on the car. If not I can see why he had no respect for the car, the road and his dad.
God forbid, I dont see my son joy riding behind my back due to the fact hes involved with cars and enjoys the same passion.

If you buy your own and wreck it, it doesn't matter ..

I don't get why you guys say he has no respect for the car. I have built my car with my bare hands and have the the most respect in the world for it, but I still love roasting the tires and having a good time. I understand that when it is painted and nice I am going to change my ways a little, but still.

That's sad.. But how in the hell does it rack up to $30k in damage? Pop the door out, repaint it and buy a few rims... God that's like $3k at most.

Because it wasn't his car to wreck. To take someone else's car, thrash it then wreck it... that shows zero respect in my book.

At a minimum, he didn't respect the cars ability to bite him in the arse. Alot of kids don't, that's why they end up wrecked so often.

I was recently egged on at a small local cruise-in. I decided to (oops) go ahead and give it hell for the guys. I was sideways through 1st and 2nd ....right past the squad car that I didn't notice. I got off with a warning and a talkin' to. The primary concern of the officer was not what I was doing, but what high school kids watching from the adjacent parking lot would try to emulate.

Hopefully seeing me get pulled over for doing something reckless, as embarassing as it was and regardless of my abilities, was enough to keep just one kid from doing something stupid.

you have a lot to learn... aside from the wheels, body and possible suspension damage, you may have a bent axle or housing, you could have tweeked the body here or there. you also have to consider the price that they are gong to charge for property damage. ever get an estimate for landscaping? i got a bill for 2200 dollars for some ruts i left in a gas station front yard while pulling a car out of its ditch. also im sure the home owner isnt going to just let the kid slide. the kid is neglagent and dangerous.. a third gear rolling burnout in a residential area isnt the smartest thing ever done...

Default Wrecked 69

I have mixed feeling about this. First I'm sick to my stomach !!! Second, Heck maybe I can get a heck of a deal on it. Give me a call with the location and I'll bring a trailor. It looks totaled to me I guess I'll have to take it now. I always wanted a 69

Yeah I thought about it, I didn't feel like going back and editing my post though.
