nice work
after a couple years of planning testing and practice it is nice to see a plan come together glad we could be a very small part of it.

I'm just getting my sanity back after an exhausting week!
A few thoughts are:

1. Without the support and help of many people, we could not have done this event, or would surely not done as well.

2. This was something I knew would be tough, but rewarding, something I could look back on and be glad I did it.

3. This was an "easy" year, "only" 3500 miles, other years have been up to 6000 miles, with 900 mile days instead of "only" 500 mile days. Also we didn't have to drive on track in the rain, where we have zero experience.

4. James built an awesome car and I helped him refine it and test it. We made a good team. James did an outstanding job driving OLC on new tracks against veteran drivers.

5. All the competitors were super nice, and hanging out with Mr Angry and his buds was pure fun! I'm sure they think I'm the dullest guy around because I didn't have much to say, - I was so tired most of the time that I didn't initiate much conversation.

6. Wednesday afternoon I got dehydrated bad, I nearly passed out, and was pretty wiped out all day Thursday from it. I was not drinking enough water when on the road so we wouldn't have to stop along the highway for any extra bathroom breaks, - not a good plan. By Friday I got back to a more normal kind of just-tired state. Those that saw me Thursday probably wondered if I was going to make it to the end! Once we got tired and behind schedule, we didn't eat regular meals, and just bought finger food at the gas station, and burgers at the track for lunch. You can do this for a day or two, but do it for a week, and it will catch up to you. I have a new-found respect for anyone who completes this event!
David

Congrats to both of you on completing it in one piece. I had a blast talking to you guys and watching you run around Hallett. If anyone gets a chance to see the car and talk to them you have to they are two down to earth guys and super nice. Hope I can see you two at another event someday.
