that is a great car ... i have had two of the rx7 r1 models and loved them both other than the powerplant , which seems to be the major week link in them , was that car built in Huntsville , Alabama by chance ? i know there is someone doing the conversions like that there.... props to you man ... Terry

These are cool cars. The LSx conversion adds very little weight to the car, actually Hinson's says that they may be a little lighter with the V8 in place of the rotary with the sequential turbos.

I seroiusly considered doing one of these a few months back when I had a line on a 95 RX7 with a bad engine. Body was too rough and I didn't end up buying it.

You just broke alot of riceburner heart but it dead on a killer ride with piston in it.

Awesome! But why a chevy and not for example a lexus engine? Or is it the siple thing thers more chevy parts?

Now that is how they should have made them. I love it. Was the conversion difficult? Who did it, how long did it take, and was it expensive?
