I think Charlie is running the quiet Pro XS on JA with 3" to the rear, Mark is running some older XR-1s on RD, and DSE runs the 12" XR-1s on most of their cars. The research that I have done tells me that the Pro XS mufflers are the quietest, but still sound good when you lay the hammer down. I have the part # that DSE uses if you need it.

Thanks - I would really like that part number, Is the pro xs a straight through design were you can look in one side and see out the other.

Thanks again Rich

Thanks Rich
From what everyone was saying about them I was a little scared of them being too loud also, so I got the Pro street series. Even before I got them welded in, the installer said to me "boy are these going to be loud", and that was just from looking at them. Once i fired the car up, we both looked at each other with a WTF look.

I didn't want it as loud as my BB Camaro with my 2 chamber Flowmasters (literally hear that thing well over a mile away), but to be honest I was a little bummed that they sounded as quiet as they did. They were barely louder than my stock GM exhaust. I think they will be a great improvement over the Flows (quieter and less drone), on my Camaro though, when I put them behind the big block

Yes both are straight thru, the Pro XS come in 14" and are engineered to be quieter have offset in and centered out which is easy to plumb and fits under a Camaro perfect. The XR-1s come in 16" and 12", 16" are tight to install in a Camaro. I have the part #s at home and will get back with you later this evening with it.

Tony, That looks good, do you run a Quad link in your car? I was wondering how the magna flow tail pipes fit.

Im thinking the pro xs will do the job, I need head pipes and an X-pipe, I was going to dump at the axle but tails would be nice. Theres just bars every where in the back.

Appreciate the info - Rich

Those cars belong to other members here, just some of the research
I've been doing to pick the right muffler the first time. I am waiting for the Pro XS mufflers I ordered to get here.
The XR1s that DSE use part #40943
Take Care
