Sorry Jody, I just changed my post. We apparently were at it at the same time. Thanks for posting the picture. I can say I watched the whole Barrett-Jackson event save for a few hours as It was a rare snow Ice event here in Georgia Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday that made the roads unpassable. Back up to mid 50's to 60's this week. Go figure.

Hmmm, you know Charley, I possibly know someone that might know some more history on the car if you don't already have it all. I worked at his machine shop out here for a awhile a he is one of the original members of the Sacremento Pan Draggers car club. He was heavy in the Northern California drag scene for quite awhile. He's in his 70's now so I think that puts him in the right time frame. I'll print some pics of the car and see if he knows anything about it. Do you have any idea from the paperwork what other colors it might have been?

The seller was so upset he took all the old oics on display with him. I know it was shown at the 52 Oakland Roadster show as the Hula girl but a different color. It then came back to Oakland again in 54 but had been channeled.

Default camaro at auction

I checked it out on Thursday, Saw a pro-toured 69 camaro sell for 75,000. It was a copper color lot #458. Made my wife feel a little better about all the money I'm spending on mine.
