Drag strip and street use, the T56 is the only od trans I will ever run. Lots of TKO issues I've heard of. Drag only four speed, I'd prolly go Jerico.
My 69 does 21mpg (US) at 1800rpm with a carbed sbc and .62 OD T56.
My 95 does 17mpg (US) at 2000rpm with the efi sb2.2, and D&D built stock syncronized T56, runs high 9s.
