Nothing wrong with a nice little 327.... They can be made to wind to the moon... and can make plenty of power for a "street machine". I've seen plenty of them pull the front wheels.

Of course - the problem is that it costs too much to build 'em compared to a bigger crate motor.

Cool. Bolt on suspension like hotchkis, speed tech, or global west?

Is there any resale value in the smog crap? I have the same setup in my garage and I would like to get rid of it.

Very nice starter car. Simple and clean. Also like the build idea.

Wish mine came with those hood hinges, must be for the RS model only.

Do you box up all the parts and keep em for resale? (resale of the car, not the parts)

I doubt this works.. no belt on the pump.. might be worth something to somewone.

Not sure who's suspension stuff.. but yea, something like that.

I could, not sure I want to store an engine and trans though.. A non-SS RS isn't really worth a lot as a collectable, even if it's numbers matching.. some people act like it's a Yenko, big block RS/SS or Z28..

I bought the car from Eddie Motorsports.. they used it to develop billet parts, now they have a '69 to use.

I did get some billet parts in to sweeten the deal.. the stock stuff will go back on for now

Steve definitely a straight car to work with. I'd like to use the Eddie motor sports dash in my 69. I think it would be sweet in there.

What a neat find. I love that color. Mine started out that color and I regret painting it different.
