I made it Today and ran some. I think the guy's at American Street Car are doing a good job along with the guy's at Orange County Racecraft

Also thanks to Brett and Matt for help with shocks/pointers and Mike Norris for trying to help me while down on a cylinder.

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

No, thank you for letting Brett and I get a few laps behind the wheel of your Chevelle! I keep saying that it is one of the coolest cars out there, and I don't think you should change a whole lot about it. After taking it for a spin I stand by my previous statement. Hope you can track down that electrical issue without too much problem.

Matt

Thanks Matt, It was good to get input from you guy's. I think the shock adjustment picked up my time by ~1.3 seconds which was nice
I wished I would have started earlier with you guy's tweaking as I think there was more. I also think running both days (on 8 cylinders) would have been a plus.

Props to Mike Norris who came out to help me at home with my car. Stand up guy! I wish I could have had it running for this.

Return to the Coast
day1 in the morning was a little scattered after the pictures at 9am but all the tracks had timers running by 11:00am or so and I ran the big track 15 laps (3 sessions) and ran the autocross for 8 timed runs and 3 untimed runs

day 2 I ran the big track for 8 laps(2 sessions) and the autocross for 19 timed laps, 9 of those times around the autocross were in my designated 1.5 hour time then I ran the stop start challenge a few times and then went back to the autocross, even Brian Finch noticed that I was spending the day at the autocross giving rides at everyone, he just stopped me and was laughing about it and just said to behave myself

I think most drivers had plenty of seat time, I will tell you that I burned thru a set of almost new tires in just the 2 days, that was a lot of driving

Thanks to Bill, Brian, and Yancy for putting on another good event, It was great to see everyone again, fantastic to meet many more people

I’m not the smartest guy at the track … but when he goes home … I’m still there testing, tuning, learning & getting faster.
