Nice info, Jer. So it appears that 30 spline would handle maybe 99% of the cars around here.

And how many cars around here are actually launching like the example in that chart?

With a floater setup can we make decision on axle size/spline count without taking into account driveplate strength?

I'm currently running a 31 spline center section with 24 spline drive plates with no problems. That said a 31 or 35 spline drive plate would be a better choice and with the proper heat treating the drive plate could be made as stong as needed without increasing size.
