I agree with everything said so far... makes me really wonder about my car and my driving abilities... or the lack thereof! LOL

My wife said, how do you know all these guy's on TV again?

And then asked when I was going to get my car on the show...

I'm really hoping for another season! Good luck guys! Great show imho!

I swear, I had those exact same questions Monday night! "Who's Albert? How do you know Kyle? Why is Bill in the sand again?"

The show is pathetic and I feel my intelligence has been challenged for the entire half hour. Kyle Tucker's camaro barely beats out a s2000 with minor bolt ons gimme a break!!! Knife to a gunfight ...... Surprise the guy with the gun wins! Far too much, made for TV, unbelievable fluff on this show. Hope it improves or suffers the same fate as pinks!

Funny read guys.
Here are a few thoughts.
1. Remember, this is a 30 minute, no wait, with commercials about 21 minute show, so hard to work in much more content, such as autocross, drag, etc. There is so much we did at the taping that never showed on the shows, so hard to add much content with the 21 time frame.
2. There were no do overs in the racing, which keeps it honest. If we screwed up, spun out, etc, we were out, just like in any competition. That said, I should have stuck with just the charger, not try and drive other cars.
3. My favorite two shows were the Audi wagon win and the pickup episode. Both showed how close the racing really was and both had enough humor to make it entertaining.
4. The humor between Jon Reep and Ken Squire was the best part of all shows to me.
5. Moving from track to track is very costly moving crews, filming, cars, equipment, so don't look for different tracks every show unless this really gets to be a huge hit.
6. CMP short track, which we ran, was very good in showing HP is not all that is needed to be good. For the minor advantage we had on the one long straight a way, we were very much disadvantaged in all the corners. It is much easier to turn 2000 pounds than 4000 pounds, just a fact of physics.
7.It is very hard to evenly match muscle cars with late model foreign cars. Either the muscle cars are much better or the euro cars are much better, hard to compare the two, but I feel Bud Greg and the team at BCII did a great job with what they had.

8. MOST IMPORTANT, all this is useless if we don't get a second season. I feel the shows got better as the season wore on, but it is hard to get a lot of gripe with just 8 shows. By the end of the season you were just really getting to know the players. I know we here had a bit of advantage being we knew most everyone, but think if you did not know us. Just barely enough time to start building characters. SO it is critical that we get one or two more seasons, just so all the above mentioned can be explained and worked out.

That said, it was a blast doing the series, we all had a ball and I for one certainly hope we do get season 2. Meanwhile, I am working on my driving, I don't want to be that guy next year..haha

I am all in for a 2nd season. Heck I would even lend you guys my Camaro with a Bike Rack and a Bike mounted on the side. (ps I'm not driving I suck at it - just being honest)

On a side not will they be selling a DVD because I would really like one.

Bill, you've taken a lot of poking about that first turn sand trap and even had your man-card revoked! We all know jumping into a car cold and trying to get good numbers out of it had to be quite challenging so thanks for being so good humored about it!

Sorry I didn't realize a higher post count validates someone's opinion. I'll get to work on patting everyone on the back for a job well done!
