Thanks Vince, a can with a single port on the bottom and filter on top should work just fine right?

Greg, have you ever checked or drained that lil can?

those cans work great, I would swap the drain valve on the bottom for a -6 fitting for the inlet and cap the side -6 port. You could go for a long time without having to drain.
