That color is killer for sure, My wife saw a 51 chevy truck that color at a carshow a few years ago. I ask what color for our car and she always says that. I am not to crazy about it for the fact of repairs. Rock chips scratches and such. I may be outvoted to go a color similar to that.

Click on the links in my sig my car is candy red over a silver base with black stripes. It's a striking color to see in person I personally love it.

Default Red

Ryan, your car is stunning, congrats on a GREAT job. What colour of red is that exactly? There are so many to choose, and the samples are very difficult to get an accurate representation of ... Did you use an HOK paint ?

Btw, hope its warmer over there than here ... WOW cold
Cheers
Steve

My paint is actually candy red from BASF Glasurit. It's over a silver base I believe is called Orion silver. Candy is a transparent paint so the more coats you lay down the darker it gets and it's near impossible to match so be careful if the car gets smashed or vandalized.

Dupont Hot Hues Razzelin Red. Saw this color at a car show last year on a 68. It was completely over the top and the best color there in my opinion. Actually looks more burgundy than red and goes killer with black.
