I don't normally comment on things like this but those bother me so much I'll make an acceptation. NO! It's a bad idea. DON'T DO IT!! If you do, there's a good chance that someone, I won't name names, will "accidentally" "bump" into them and break them. They make people angry...and that's just rude. If you do run them, be sure to add your "Hillary" bumper sticker.

Yeah...They don't work. Sorry man.

I'm going to have to agree, a little too big for my liking.

2nd gen mirrors, while arguably unoriginal, are just such a good fit for a more modern look it's hard to improve on. Even the sport-bike motorcycle mirror has a better shot of looking good given the scale of the 1st gen.

So what you're saying is if I actually put those on my car that I should not drive it around Vegas?

I looked around last night a a bit and didn't come up with anything I liked yet. I'm kinda liking the one I idea of no mirrors and running a camera on each side with two screens.

Not in Vegas or anywhere. I've got a few "assets" around the country. NO I am not threatening you. This is "advise". There's a difference.

I'd have to see the camera type you're talking about. If it's what I thinking...you wouldn't have any exterior mirrors?

What about some carbon fiber 2nd gen ones with a thin light in the leading edge. Kind of like what Paul ran on the front bumper of his 2nd gen? Pays to the classic look and still has a touch of the modern vibe.

I put these on my '68:

For the price I thought the mounting bracket sucked, but overall liked the look of the mirror
