It's a scam! I promise with all my heart it is a scam. I have seen dozens of them, just last week we had one with a friend of mine, might be the same guy or ring of guys the letter is so identical. We have a blast f--king with them. Don't waste your time with the bank, this guy has you all excited now thinking you have it sold. it's a scam, tell him to go away, or find away to make it cost him.

Sounds identical to a scam someone tried to pull on my buddy. He was selling a 5th wheel sand trailer, and this was almost the exact story word for word. The scam artist on the other end actually sent him a cashiers check and once my buddy caught on to the scam h etried to contact him. The person was no where to be found and the check turned out to be a fake.

yep a scam for sure! I had at least one of these a week when I had a car for sale on Auto Trader.com Like some others I got excited the first time and thought it was sold....then my wife informed me it was a scam, she had heard of it before. So I then played along and asked for some business info and mailing address as he said he was a auto broker, never to hear back from him, which I thought was strange since just a day before he said he had a client that wanted my car. After getting a few more of these emails (from different address but the same bs) I finally stooped as low as them and told them what I thought of their 'business', I'm sad to say it was mosty in four letter words...never got any more emails from them though!!

I just had this happen to me yesterday. I saw a complete Donovan motor, big block and fuel injected on craigslist, on the add it said 55k into this engine, and was selling for 7k, and he had pictures and it looked great, but then I e-mailed him and he said that the motor was in San Francisco, but he was in Italy, but he could ship it to me. I told him to suck something, then I deleted his add.

Thanks for your immediate response. Asking price is okay. Presently I am off the shores of Angola where I work as a Drilling Engineer on the coastal explorations with Exxon Mobil Oilfields. ..........Do not bother about the shipping to Angola I have a shipping agent who will come over to the USA to ship some of my items from my home in Texas so he would also come over to your house for pick up of the truck. Please reply ASAP.

Regards,
Jim

Marcus

Think about it....why not just buy a truck in ANGOLA? Seems awfully complicated for him to buy a truck sight unseen and ship it to the other side of the world. Hmmmmm.....
