Great car but, more importantly to me, thanks for sharing the journey. The people and experiences are priceless to me.

Great car and story Chris!!

I too was raised a son of a car builder/drag racer, but didn't do much other than suspension work and stereos untill I got my 68 camaro 3 years ago. My dad has heart disease and cant help with the build, so everything is done by myself and this is why all your guy's input/info is priceless to help make my dream come true! My father REALLY wants a PT 69 camaro for himself and if he could scrape enough money together I would gladly put my project on hold to help build him one...that is one gift I would love to give him!! I am trying to build a quality car on one hand but get it finished on the other, as I don't know how much time he has left and I want him to experiance the muscle car fun at least one more time before he joins your father up there. Yeah I put a lot of presure on myself and having a 6 month old son has certainly slowed down the progress...but I wouldn't change that for anything!!

So as you can see I can relate to and appreciate your story and applaud everything the Corvette has gotten you!! I cant wait to see the 69 finished!!

Default chris gets it !

hey lat g men

it is about the life we lead through the cars..THE FRIENDS WE MAKE !
I MET CHRIS AT AGE 17..we both worked at an auto parts store .my first job.imagine that?
we both had these 69 camaros as first cars .so yes ive known chris about half my life ..dang ..half.. guys ,we are almost 34...
in meeting chris because of the cars, i gained a friend and learned a ton....little story for ya
my car didnt have a stereo and i had no clue how to put one in..he helped me put in my first car stereo...now go back to 17 ..i just didnt know how...i was amazed at his ability to do things .seeing his car for the first time i was just in awe.it was fresh . i still remember my first ride in that car .i thought man his rides so nice and looks cool and he redid it , with his dad..how cool WE MUST THANK HIS DAD ! he was shown how to do many things by his father...who was BIG DO IT YOURSELFER and great guy...he was shown you just have to get in there and do it..
.i ive witnessed chis do many thing with vehicles
chris lets nothing in the car world slow him .he does things that i just go ..wow hes really gonna do that..WHY ? cause it a challenge and he can and will..i went to his house and saw "killer" for the first time and im into cars but i was asking myself what is he gonna do with that?it was rough! i mean i had been around and seen some cars by this time in our lives and i was even like wow hes going to do this .....jump ahead to the day i went to his house and he had this thing cut in sections and i looked at chris and said ..WOW HOW THE HELL ARE YOU GONNA PUT IT BACK TOGETHER? he looked at me and said "well, its only fiberglass it will go back together"...he also said .. i think it will...i laughed ..we picked up the sections an put them on a dolly .guys let me tell you.im amazed when i look at this car. hes determined and he just does it.
chris is a great, respectable guy..with tons of ability and focus..
.a REAL friend who has become my go to guy for opinions and answers on everything in life from cars to females .which he is also lucky he has a great wife.. who supports him in all his " car adventures" (ive called dibs on a clone ,if they make it legal)
BOTTOM LINE IF IT WASNT FOR 69 CAMAROS I WOULDNT HAVE THIS GREAT FRIEND......SO THANKS TO A LOVE OF CARS "AND 69 CAMAROS" I HAVE THIS FRIEND.... NOW HALF MY LIFE ..

heres to cars and the friends we make !...cheers!!.

Wow, what an amazing post. This hobby breeds some of the greatest human beings I know and you're no exception. I know your father is proud; you're the reason this hobby continues to inspire others to do the same. Thanks for sharing your passion....
