Combination of things on the long wait. Most of the wait time was the heads. Friend of mine ported them and they were and as far as I know the only set just like them in the country. He ports for a very famous Corvette shop(can't say!!) and he did these on the side. About the time all of that got finished I moved and when I picked up the short block we noticed I had 2 piston skirts barely rubbing the counterweights on the crank. So I had to order new pistons... The list goes on and on and on....
The Valve covers are the GMPP ones that I had powdercoated. ~$200 IIRC.

I appreciate the interest. It has been a labor of love, as I sure all of these cars on here are. Haven't worked so much on the looks part yet. Paint is about a year away..
