Kenny i am sure you can round up something half assed to drive!! or take up Jayson's offer of beer goggle navigating from the back seat.

well ................... now what?
so jason? you and Devin are now signed up as official organizers.
i think if we tried to do anything this year it would have to be late in the season mid September ,but maybe just start to organize for next June or something like that
i think if we could set up something with towns along the way for a cruis in as we go through.................

any one interested in helping organize

I agree, it should be planned for next season so it can be well organized. Besides, that will give an incentive to those whose cars are not finished yet. This would be a great goal to get them done.
Jason, don't tell Devin yet. He won't be able to sleep for a year!!

Jason, let me know if you are seriously going to work on this deal. What about magazine coverage?

There is a muscle car cruise up the coast in California called the Muscle Car 1000. It seems to be pricey and is limited to 50 cars. Google "muscle car 1000". There is no website for it but there are a couple of articles and it was featured on Dream Car Garage a few weeks back. I think this was ther second year.

How the hell did that happen??? It was your idea! What about making any given Saturday morning at Ford design studios in Irvine the final destination? We'd fit right in with all the bad-ass exotics and it would allow for some scheduling flexibility.

Or what about a short one to the GoodGuys Pleasanton show in August for this summer? The only rub is that the cut-off for that show is 1954 so we'd all have to leave our cars in the parking lot but it really is a good show and the whole town is crawling with hot rods so we'd feel at home around town.
Some of you with sponsors might be able to get in a vendor booth there and get some brownie points too.

You're right, Charlie! I forgot about the 2001 Tour ending out West because I let my subscription lapse back then when Hot Rod turned into Car Craft. I think they noticed and started sending everyone with PHR subscriptions offers for $10/year and I re-upped.

I think the 2009 power tour will cross through california. This year it is ohio to arkansas. 2008 will probbaly be from arkansas to arizona. Then 2009 will be arizona up the west coast to washington.
