Yeah, but too bad they still lost THE most important game. Bilichick taking off with 1 second left at the end of the game did look pretty classless to me. But that's just my opinion.

Sorry Ben, I mainly hate the Pats cause they beat the Rams in 01.

No apologies necessary. This was the same game as the Rams with the roles reversed for the Pats. It's understandable. I've got my S-list of teams just like anyone else....many have no logical reason for hating them. I just always have.

Trust me, if there's a town that knows what it's like to be beaten by another frequent champ team it's Boston. Pitchers and Catchers in Ft. Meyers in 2 weeks!!

As for leaving the game early...again...whatever the actual reason, it's not Belichick's style, he just doesn't do that. There has to be more to it. Prime example: Randy Moss prior to the Pats was a loudmouth prima donna. He still may be a prima donna but he keeps it to himself a lot better than in the past. That's because the organization doesn't put up with it at all.

No worries the Rams used to be terrible, then one of the best and now back in the gutter

But it was also kinda nice seeing Brady getting flattened on his ass 5 or 6 times.

Yeah, the O-line looked like one of those restaurant swinging doors to the kitchen. Matt Light had the worst game of his career I think.

Default An observation

I want to pre-empt my comments by stating that the New England Patriots are a great football team. And obviously their success in recent years is impressive
However one thing that I find interesting in regards to the Patriots is that generally speaking outside of their "home" area they are not well respected.
(I am not talking about team pride or jealousy) As a matter of fact there are many fans of the NFL that despise the Patriots.
On the other hand teams like the 70's Steelers and the 90's 49ers were
well respected teams back in the day and still are today.
I believe that this respect factor has everything to do with an organizations culture.
And unfortunately for the New England Patriots and more importantly their fans, they have made themselves an easy target by the way that they have conducted themselves as a professional football team.

the giants played great, and they had some lucky catches, which is whats needed to win, and they did that, however to rag on the pats is crazy.
You cannot consider the Pats as one of the best ever if they cannot finish the biggest game of the year, no matter their record, bottom line. Their coach is an ahole and he seems to not know what the word "class" and "fair play" is all about. That's why they are hated, not because of their record.
