True. Sort of. SMOY is not the end all litmus test by any stretch. What does it take to prove that these cars work? So much effort has been applied to verifying the available technology and the cars. It's a long list. And there's photo. video, and data showing these cars--Ring Brothers and all--being used in EVERY environment from street to track. The list of tracks and events includes:
Road Atlanta
Pocono
Laguna Seca
Goodguys auto-X
Run Thru the Hills
Buttonwillow
Road America
Primedia Fontana tests
Power Tour
Optima Challenge
Chassis Dyno results
In the heat
In the rain

What more does anyone need?

I think it's a legitimate question - but when it's the first post by a new user, the motive is a bit suspicious.

When Rings win SMOY two years running, it's going to attract a lot of attention and a lot of questions.

I think the most important thing to realize is that Razor was built for a customer. It's what the customer wanted. It's what the customer paid for. Raking a business over the coals because they produced something their customer wanted just doesn't make any sense to me. If a customer walked into Ring Brothers and wanted, say, a car to compete in the Open class at the Silver State Classic, I know they could build it.

I guess I can think of no better way to reinforce your decision to hire the Rings than this thread... it's nice to see complete strangers willing to go to the mat for them. It's a special kind of shop that wins that kind of loyalty.
