Doing it on 19 / 20 street tires..........WOW! So much for the 19s / 20s won't work theroy! Big props to Mark for building something fresh and kicking ass!

So what was the tire rule? Who ran what? DSE is usually on BFGs?

nothing lower than a 100 wear rating, and had to be dot legal, not grooved racing tires to be eligible for the competition.

I haven't been on the site much lately so I feel a bit "out of the loop". What "new" car did Mark use to win the Motor state Challenge?

i think what alot of people dont think about is that mark also probally has a good amout of seat time on the road course... and road course driving is a hole nother beast compared to auto-x... so its not really a situation of penny or another car not performing just as good its the driver. i mean theres no doubt jackass is a god amongst 69s but suspension wise theres a good amount of competitors that have car that are in the same class.
