Congrats and a big kudos to you.

my mom does foster kids and today was one's final day with her because she got adopted by a new mother, after being with my mom for about 14 months.

always great to hear about little kids getting a second chance at a better life

well tonight is the first night he is ours! It is kinda hard to believe.

"Normal" adoptions take a ton of time but this one happened really really fast. We met for the first time just two weeks ago and here I am a dad! I just got the CARS movie- figured I would burn that into his retinas- then I need to introduce him to anything with 4 wheels on it

some of you may remember our story a few years back

all I can say is God is faithful and life is amazingly exciting!- Chris

Congratulations!!!! You and your wife will have a blast.

People always say you won't know how much love you have to offer until you have one of your own and it's true. You're in for the time of your life.

Welcome to fatherhood.

Congratulations!!!! God is good. Remember what Jeremiah 29:11-14 says. He has it all planned out.

Somehow God will use every terrible thing that happens in our lives for good if we trust Him---I still can't do it, but after reading your guys story, I feel I have absolutley nothing to ever complain about again. Thanks for sharing that--and congrads again on the new baby-----maybe I missed it--did you guys get a name picked out already?

Doug

His name is Alexander, I am changing his middle name to Christopher- after me. It's been a fun week hanging out with him. He is very laid back. I don't think it has fully hit me yet-

Thanks guys for the kind words - Chris
