Hey the guy has a right to do what ever he wants with the car it's his.
My point is that the car has only a hundred miles since completed that is what the ad says.
That car was in bad shape I don't think that he even with unlimited resorces
could have come up with a car like that. I think that car was one of the few with EFI.The rear view cameras the flames the radio set up was un real. They really tryed to take it to an other level. the flames in the valve covers. Autograph by Chip, Your friend helped to pull this off for you and still only a 100 miles!

The hole thing sounds like he will have more fun at Barrett Jackson rubbing elbows with Goldberg and all the other stars drinking merlot.
Jody I know your cars from your web site and you have sold them but it is different don't you think. I would think that you enjoyed your cars before you sold them plus this guy was trying to build something to keep. It does not sound like he did.

I think I remember in the show that he was saying he was doing some sort of work with a production company. I'm thinking he does need the money. Besides, it's his car to sell. Should I care? Nope. I met Ian at Super Chevy in May, That was the 1st time he had driven the car. When I asked him, he said that it had taken that long to fix all the problems with the car. He was not happy with the way it had turn out. He was looking to build another one. Maybe he is selling it to bank roll his next project. He seemed like a car guy to me.

That's cool, and it makes sense. Not that I am happy to hear he had trouble with the car, but one part of the show that is never mentioned is the fact that it often takes months and months of headaches to flogged out the bugs in a complicated build like this. That makes me feel better about the builds that there really is the balance on the other side.

I'd sell it too.

I wouldn't really want a car built by Foose, Boyd, Trepanier, Steilow, etc... I want a car built by ME, the way I want it.

Sure, I love those cars, but I've never yet seen a custom built car built that didn't have anything I wouldn't change... and the fact it was "built by Foose" is what makes it valuable. As soon as you start changing things, it's no longer a "Foose" built car.

I'd get pretty sick of hearing people talk about how I "ruined" a Foose-mobile by changing nearly everything... so I'd sell it to someone who's going to appreciate it as a Foose car, and I'd use the money to build one how I want it.
