BMW M-Parallels is what they are called. Follow the link in my signature for pictures. The last page should have them.

You're correct about the rears, Hifi. I was confusing LT1 4th gens which have the integrated parking brake with the caliper. That's a cheaper and easier way to do a rear conversion than using C5 rear brakes. LS1 fbody fronts are not 12.8 inches though.

Thanks. Good luck finding them. It was late 90s early 2000s 5 and 7 series BMWs that had them. I believe only the 7 series had the staggered 8 front 9.5 rears like I have. I used Craisglist when back in Georgia to find them.

Just keep in mind that there are a lot of inexpensive OEM rims out there that will look good and clear 13inch front brakes like C5/6 brakes. You may have to get adapters to make it all work but it's not difficult typically and should help you stay well within your budget.

I have no idea. I don't know what backspacing or offset is needed for a first gen. The backside of the rim center is not that close to the caliper though on my car. Keep in mind that I have 3/4" adapters on my car to push the rim out more too. You may want to PM Jerry, intocarss, as he has a set on his 68 camaro. I'm sure he can tell you more about what it takes to get the rims onto a first gen.

Keep in mind that modern OEM rims are typically high offset rims. That means you'll have to add adapters to bring the hub of the rim back to a lower offset, towards the middle of the rim, or, another way to think about it, push the rim out towards the body of the car. You'll need to take that into account when selecting a rim not only to know what adapters you'll need but also to include the adapter thickness in when trying to determine if the rim will clear the calipers.
