Very nice. Have fun!

Some of the best automotive fun I've ever had was behind the wheel of a friend's F-40. Great car to drive and can't argue with the looks! Only wish I had the opportunity to get some real track time in before he sold it.

Yup. Super rare, but a poor substitute for the real thing. Send those pix.

wow,

Most of the upgraded versions were pushing out over 750 at the wheels and they are fairly light. With the upgraded turbos and exhaust work, that should be a monster to drive.

I think the exhaust tone from one of those is IMO one of the meanest sounding things on earth. I helped a friend take his 88 328 GTS to the dealer and was waiting inside when one pulled in the parking lot. Even with the indoor music, the doors closed and the people talking, I felt it in my chest before I even saw it, or heard it.

That, is a drivers car. No computer aids, just all mechanical.

Very sweet ride SK, a sound bite of it revving would be nice.

BTW, nice collection you have there. Can I live in your garage?

Very cool!! I saw an F-40 filling up at a gas station in Italy in June on when I was on my way to Maranello to go to the Ferrari Museum. It was the most beautiful sound my ears had ever heard (just as cool as a fighter jet in full afterburner!) The best part was the way the guy left the Station...FULL THROTTLE!!

Your floor looks sweet is that just painted squares and waxed? Or did you color the concrete in the lighter squares?
