A great car for a great guy. Me, JMarsa, and shessel from the Pro-Touring boards had dinner with Steve last night in Novi. He's a fine addition to the Popular Hot Rodding staff. A real gear head. If I'm ever out that way I will definitely take you up on that ride. That's a sweet machine.

By the way Steve, make sure you stop by the restaurant and give Kristen a hug and a kiss before heading home.

Default Short Impression

Steve had sent me an email wanting me to describe the car as far as ride and feel. I wrote back with this reply.

Hard to describe. Have you ever ridden in a race car...there you go. The car is loud and sounds like a Nextel Cup Car or a drag car running full exhaust. the ride is firm from being run so low. Very tight because of the cage and connectors. It is pretty much a sensory overload situation being in the car. You can tell that this car is being wasted just driving it on the street...it is begging for an increase in ride height of about an inch or two and a set of race tires and an open track. The whole time I was riding in it all I could think of was riding a spirited horse that you had to keep reining in to keep it under control...ready to bolt at anytime.

Obviously, this is one of highest horsepower street cars that I have ever been in and someone told be about 600 to 650 is about much as you should run on the steet because you cannot get enough tire to make it any fun. I see their point and agree to an extent...but man was it a wild fun ride.
