i was actually lookin at c/f hoods for the 2nd gen lightning project, i want to do the center of the hood flat black like a mach 1, and thought about leaving it bare c/f instead of black. kinda a high-tech-retro kinda thing.

i think something like that would be way kewl on a camaro, just not sure what kinda gm'ish graphics would look "right"

Ok.. my address is: ...

That is just so seriously nice. Paint the top, leave the bottom CF. I think the fact that it shaves 60 lbs of high slung weight off the car is the best part.

Some sort paint job on the top where a SMALL stripe of some sort would be left bare CF.. kinka like that anniversary C5 Z06.. hmmmm

Would some one please educate me. This is Mark's Camaro? Is this the same gentlemen that lives in Metro Detroit and that I met at Woodward Dream Cruise?

His car is all white, did he decide to paint the car red? Who make's these hoods? I'm sure they are not making them for GTO's, but I would love to have one. My hood is so heavy it falls down on it's own. No kidding.

Yes Mark is the GM engineer that lives in Detroit. Yes he has the white 69. The hood is going on my red 67 that he built about 12 years ago but he test fit it on his white 69. No there are no plans for a GTO hood
