Yeah but the dude just jumped in a ZL1 and beat a PRO driver by 2 seconds without sweating... I think he can handle this.

I'm rooting for him and I'm sure most of the notes transfer from Red Devil, but it's a different car.

I would think this build is a cakewalk compared to testing brake systems out on a track that uh.. don't brake.

Todd brings up a good point about track time and sorting. I spoke with Mark about this, and that's why he's using a combo that he's familiar with for this car. He can get the final dialing in done pretty fast, he's real good at that.

I saw him go into turn 1 on his first lap at Optima two years ago, and the ABS faulted.......... That would completely un-nerve most anybody.

Probably helps that he has so much track experience. But it also helps that he's smart enough to set the normal brake bias up correctly so if the ABS faults you have a chance to catch it.

Actually I was thinking more of the times he posted about in a prior build when it happened (IIRC) while driving GM test vehicles.
