Worked on the front bumper cover this weekend.

Had to modify the mounting tabs to work with a stock steel support.

Step one - Make sure you are wearing the proper safety glasses

Step two - Carefully remove all of the mounting tabs

Step Three - Take them to the grinder and reduce there size.
A long sleeve shirt may have prevented my forearms from itching so darn bad.

Step Four - Glass all the tabs back on.

Step Five - Drill the new holes

Step Six - Run to local Sears and buy Stainless Steel bolts (did i mention i lost the original bolts)

In the end it's mounted and it only took about 4 hours if you include the trip to Sears Hardware and the trips to the slop sink to wash my arms because they itched so badly.

Looks great, Marty!

I spent about two hours cleaning my garage shop in order to bring more parts home so when the time comes to test fit everything it's all in one place.

What really sucks is i started cleaning because i can't find any of my tailgate hardware that i bought and without the hardware i can't install the relocate handle.

Happy Sunday,

Dave was able to squeeze in a bunch of work this week.
He was able to get both front and rear bumpers mounted.
He came up with a pretty cool way to mount the bumpers and make adjust much easier.

Here is the mount for the front cover

Plenty of adjustment up down so we should be able to nail the alignment perfectly.

Finished Product

Since were on the front end - Dave Finished the steering shaft.

Moving back to the rear end.
This is the beginning of the rear bumper mounting.

Plenty of adjustments with this mount

Just a quick side view

Dave mounted the engine oil cooler on the Drivers Side.

Okay rear cover view.

Here are the plans for the end of the truck.
Remake the rear cover out of steel and incorporate the rear belly pan

underside view.
