Decided to re-do the front steam line to the water pump, little cleaner routing.

But the main thing I needed arrived today... my stainless tank from Rock Valley Antique Auto Parts. Really nice, bolts into my Roadster Shop chassis, and set up for the Aeromotive dual Phantom stealth pumps. Now I can finish the exhaust pipes at the back and get the exhaust welded up. Hopefully the car can go in and get the dents knocked out, and the chassis can head to the powder coaters and then re-assembled.

It looks like a nice setup, I like the cap on the fill pipe. I’m looking forward to seeing the exhaust when it’s done.

Not much progress lately as I still have home projects going on. But I have a dilemma. I was set on trying to match a color of a new El Camino I got to use for a few weeks in high school. The owner said he custom ordered it in a Cadillac color which I believe to be Nutmeg Firemist metallic. I found a Yenko nova in that color and the pics looked exactly like what I remember.
Since then I've come across this same car outside, and the color is quite different, and not at all what I'm going for.
Maybe it's just me but outside it looks darker and more copper-tinted. I've been searching brownish colors for a month and can't find anything like that inside pic. I sorta like this Mercedes color; I know it's different than my original choice but I like it, should look good with the black stripes:
So I'm now starting to re-think the color choice, and leaning towards something safer like a medium to dark grey. My first choice is still brown, I just love it, but the shade has to be right.
