I'm new here, but I have always liked your builds. I think the first one that hooked me as Red Witch. Then the Mule in PHR was a great car to make me want more than just a drag car. I like that you use a bunch of off the shelf GM parts on your cars.

I skimmed thru this one, but I must really read the whole thing from start to finish.

This is going to be an awsome car!

Matt at Sled Alley is doing a great job on the induction tube. It is 4" to 4.5" to 4.75" inch K&N MAF sensor. Going to a nice big 5 inch inlet K&N filter. We need a lot of air to make a lot of power.

Nice well made parts that fit well.

Mark, what offset or backspace are you using with the 11"?

I am in process right now of ordering nearly identical wheels (the GA3s, not the Rs, fit-wise identical designs) for my 66 Nova and am also going to use them on my 2011 Z06 that has ZR1 brakes (Carbon Edition). I could not get an 11"; I am having to stay at 10.5" because the inner barrel of the 11" hits the ZR1 caliper and the 10.5" just squeaks by. For the Vette I need to run a 37.5mm offset (~7-1/4" backspace) so if I were to reduce that by 1/2" I could run an 11", so maybe you are in the 6.5" BS or 25-30mm offset range or less?

If so, keep in mind if you want a more BS for fender clearance you will need to go to the narrower wheel at around 7" of BS. I will be running a 295 tire because the 315 can hit the inner fender stuff on the Z06, you can still run the 315 on a 10.5" wheel since you won't have that issue on the Camaro.

Getting closer on the induction tube.
