Man, am I ready to move to a warm climate. Seems all my car building time is being spent plowing snow, I don't remember a winter like this since I was a kid. Global warming my ass.
Did get the last frame legs made, with fuel line raceways, and lots of lightening holes. With all the added cage bars, I feel I need to offset the weight with lots of holes. I couldn't build a light car to save my soul. All I have to do is finish welding these in and cut and fit the 1 1/4" chromoly tie bars which go between these legs and the bars above the transmission, and the frame is done. Man am I behind.
The little outriggers are 1/8", and the crossmember itself is 3/16". This car is so space limited in everyway, pushing the engine back that far really jammed this up all over. It probably wouldn't be that bad if the T56 Magnum and that torque arm weren't so huge.
