Default Chrome or All Black Anodized?

Im just now starting to buy all of my chrome trim pieces and think it may look killer if I did everything in black instead. Parts Im thinking of anodizing/powdercoating are:

Window Trims
Door Handles
Rear Bumper
Front billet grill

Would these look weird black on a black car with chrome/black wheels and polished billet taillights? Heres a pic of the car the way it sits and heres the wheels I was using. Thoughts?

Hi John, I'm a little biased but I'm kinda diggin' the blacked out look as I progress, go for it and thanks for the shockwaves.

Just from the looks of that Firebird I'd have to say all black. Those wheels are going to look sick!!

Maybe Matte Black for the trim and door handles and then match the rear bumper to the body? Just a thought. I'm under the impression that you're not running a front bumper. Is that correct?

It's looking good man!

John... I'm a huge fan of black !! But I have to tell ya you may be making a mistake blacking EVERYTHING out.. When Carter did my rendering he asked me why I was doing everything in black ? He explain to me the car would'nt have a focal point ''your eye's will get lost'' .... I told him no this is what I wanted. Well that year I saw Feslers ''DRAGO'' at SEMA, as you know everything is blacked out on that car. The car was badazz no question ,but Carter was right I could't focus on any detail everthing was black. I decided right then and there all my trim will be a different color to give the car some definition. I hope this makes cense ... So I say stay with the chrome/polish..You already have a good start ,trim, tail lights, wheels. Just my opinion. The cars going to look awsome no matter what!!! Nothing better than BLACK!!!!!!!

No front bumper. I had the indents where the brackets go welded closed.

Thanks for the help guys.

If I recall, weren't these wheels for sale a while ago? And if so, you said "was" as if you are going with new wheels. If so, what are the details of the new wheels....brushed, polished, matte, etc? I agree with Doom. Add some diminsion to the car.

The murdered look is played out. Look at all the modern cars that people make EVERYTHING black. Personally, it takes no vision or effort and it shows.

Except for Lenie. Car looks sick.

PS: Mario, Carter wasn't the only one in your ear about that. Some cars look great in the right light or in a rendering. etc.

I agree.

Blacked out/painted everything always looks like the easy way out to me. Perhaps it's because I've spent to many hours making window stainless look like it's been chromed.
