A couple of updates since you asked so nicely...

Motor/trans and chassis are together and under the car so much of the internal sheetmetal work is underway.



Wheel tubs in with trunk floor and side panels coming togethern along with rear seat panel.



New floor sections to accommodate the chassis clearance areas





Also, given the height of this motor and the stacks, we need to add some clearance into the hood!

We got the hood wrapped up on the Fairlane last week - it stayed fairly subtle while giving us the necessary clearance for that tiny little motor...

Looks incredible as expected!!

Novice question... how much room do you need above the velocity stacks to ensure you have enough air flow?

Ty - The guys at Jon Kaase (engine builder) recommended 2" of space above the stacks to allow enough room for air to enter.
