Fortunate to have gotten some solid advice from Greg on several different matters. What a positive influence he had on the world. RIP Greg Weld!

A great loss to our community. I met him briefly at a Goodguys show in Colorado a few years ago. He had his newly completed (I believe Brizio) roadster there along with the Red Devil Camaro. Down to earth guy. My young 5 year old daughter wanted to look at the cars closer and instead of being worried about her getting too close to a couple of very high profile cars, he welcomed her right into the cars. Very nice. His investment thread changed lives to those that wanted to learn, it did mine and he answered some questions directly to me. He didn't have to share that knowledge but freely did. Great guy.

He will be missed.

Just seeing this, but been awaiting the post. The inevitable part of life is that it must end somewhere, somehow. Having the life sucked out of you from a vicious disease must be the worst, but Greg fought it like a champion. High spirited til the end. Greg loved this community. He posted that many many times on these pages. Greg loved family, as he also posted that here. Always willing to help and lend an ear, or a hand if he was there. You will be missed big guy. Heavy hearts here in Georgia. #88wins!

I only got to meet and talk in person with Greg once, SEMA 2017. For all the folks that never did meet him in person, know this, he was the exact same guy in person we’ve all grown to “know” virtually through the forum (and even better I’m sure). He’ll be missed by us all.

Greg fostered a great sense of community here and throughout our hobby. I can’t help but think the best way to honor his memory will be for each of us to do the same in our own lives and interactions with each other. #WWGWD?

I couldn't help but tear up when I just saw this. I reached out to Greg in desperation to help my mother who was dying of cancer and within minutes Greg emails me back with all the information to try and help her. She passed away shortly after but I'll never forget him for taking the time to help me.

Even tho I never met him personally he'll always be in my thoughts when times get tough. He was a fighter, well respected and will be missed by all.

Race in peace Mr. Weld..............

What terrible news.
Greg was simply one of the most giving people I've ever met. And one of the most open, especially considering this is the internet.
Greg was larger than life.
We all thought his fight using THC/CBD would work because, well, he was G.W. Not only would he figure it out, but would share with us how we could too. Of course it would work. It did I guess, because it gave him a few extra precious years and a better quality of life. He was comfortable in his choice, and that's what matters most.
I am so sorry for his family. I had the pleasure of meeting Greg & Adrienne at Barrett-Jackson this past January, she is such a sweetheart. I can only imagine their grief.
RIP, our friend. Here's to a life well lived!

Sadly,

I am at a loss for words to explain how it feels like the world is a different place with the loss of a life of someone you never met. That was Greg's impact on this community and anywhere else he touched. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and his friends that had the pleasure to actually spend precious time with him. Must be a huge hole in your lives. May that hole soon be filled with fond memories of Greg. For the first time Greg is looking down at us now. Let's all make him proud and let a small piece of a great man live on in each one of us.

God speed Greg, you will be greatly missed.
