Looks great Ron!

Sorry to hear about the re-do of the knee! I had a similar situation with a colon resection... spent the month of November in the hospital one year... it really sucks! And even worse... they have the balls to bill you TWICE for all of it!

So time for a long overdue update. Two days after I got the car home I had knee surgery. Sat on my a** for two weeks went back to the doc for a follow up and was told it needed a redo.
Good to see the updates again Ron, in what was voted recently one of America's top threads.

Sorry to hear about your knee problems˛ ... and of course Greg's colon resection.

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

Sorry to hear about your knee Ron. I had a medical situation April of last year and worked on my car while on pain pills. Made it quite enjoyable actually because they were Norco's and I wasn't feeling the pain that I would normally feel after working out on my car.

Couple of things I wanted to bring up......first off, smart move on rolling lips before paint. Secondly, the race hubs are a great Idea.

Different animal here (stock subframe)but the front Z06 wheels I picked up needed 2" spacers to fit correctly which make the wheel originally a 7.5" backspace. I had my first test and tune at Thunderhill a couple of weeks ago and really noticed how much harder my front end was working. I think the 2" spacer incorporated with the hubmounting location of the Z06 wheels were putting alot of pressure on my hub, bearing and spindle due to bringing the load bearing point further away from the original mounting point.

I think what I'm really trying to say is, good job on the building execution of your car. If you plan on running your car hard, incorporate the components that are meant for that sort of work and thats exactly what you are doing.

After picking up my new lower control arms I chopped another inch off my coil springs. Floor to fender lip is 23" now. (Just a little stance hint, I'll send you a pic to give you an idea).

Car is looking sweet, keep plugging away brother......she'll be on the road never soon enough but soon.

Thx for the comments guys! Good health is so important and something we too often take for granted. Now back to what's really important - talking cars...
