Jackass is the penultimate PT car of today as was X. The combination is barely even available yet & it's done. All this in the anti-bling style I love.
It's built to be driven, not to win SMOTY. I'm sure Mark will get the suspension balance dialed to match what that car deserves. And you go with your yellow Charley! Quite the dreamy car there. I just wish I could get my car done but it's close to start now.

A video of it on the road would be excellent. I'm sure you have no shortage of volunteers Charley, that would help if you decide to.

Default Hot Rod Shoot

Working on JA today. Getting all the new car bugs sorted out. We shot it for a Hot Rod feature last weekend. Static shots and drifting shots.

Due to the fact the photos will be used in the Hot Rod story I'm not posting those photos them until after the mag comes out.

I will try to get some other shots of the car outside when it stops raining.

The LS9 is killer. On a 3rd gear stab it will ignite the tires. It idles at 650 RPM and make torque just off idle.

The ride is good on the low profile ZR1 rubber even on crappy MI roads.

Brake feel is very good with the ZR1 brakes. They still need one more bleed to get a little firmer pedal.

The twin disk ZR-1 clutch is butter smooth on launch and the sytem effort seems just right.

I have about 100 miles on the car now and just sorting it out prior to Power Tour.

Well back to it.

Mark

Look the same as what I'm using on my car - I got mine out of a '91 Jetta.

Kller car Charley & Mark - congrats on a great build, as usual.

That's good to know, Mark. Katech is working on a new flywheel so the LS9 dual disk will work on standard LS motors.
